The San Fernando Service Council meets on the first Wednesday of the month. They meet in the city of Van Nuys at 6:30 PM. It consists of members of the public and staff. Staff present on various topics including ridership, cleanliness, service changes and other projects that may be of value to the committee.
This council has 9 members including a chair and a vice chair. It also has other positions including officers, an administrative analyst, and may have other positions as needed.
This council is one of 5 different councils that cover Metro's service areas within Los Angeles County.
While I don't know about other councils, this council does have policies dealing with troublesome issues that may come up.
To learn more about the council, please go on over to the San Fernando Service Council page where you can get agendas and more. We will link directly to the agenda when they become available.
The next San Fernando Service Council meeting will be November 5, 2025. The council will not meet in December, following board policy and was approved in the October 1st meeting.
