The Accessibility Advisory Committee plays a pivital role here at Los Angeles Metro. The group has quite a number of members, and the group also has officers as well.
Staff also help with administering the committee just like all of the others that are ran by the agency.

The accessibility Advisory Committee meet on the following months: February, March, May, June, August, September, November and December. This change was approved in 2021 by the steering committee.
This steering committee does assist staff with Agenda items.
The committee meets on the second thursday of the months listed above at Metro Headquarters in the Henry Huntington room at 1PM.
In recent times, our agendas have contained items for board reports. Where applicable, the board reports will be part of this page under our meetings. Also, braille will be made available as discussed on the web site as well.

As part of the AAC, I've tried to write up board reports that might be of value between all of the meetings. These will stay up for at least one quarter unless we need more space.
Starting with April's set of reports, we'll publish reports as they become available. They then will be up for one quarter from the date of publication.
Below is an observation report based on trips taken during March 2026. This does not necessarily reflect the entire system, but rather my direct observations. The report is available in Word, English Braille, and UEB Braille formats. If you have had similar or different experiences, I would love to hear from you.
